Panam Sports Awards

At nearly every General Assembly held by Panam Sports, my colleague Alejandro Goycoolea and I have delivered an update to the stakeholders regarding the most important news, events and progress from sport in the Americas. These updates have come in the form of videos, presentations and even editorial magazines.

Throughout our five years at Panam Sports we have created four magazines, publishing our most recent one after the conclusion of the Lima 2019 Pan American Games and delivering it at the inaugural Panam Sports Awards held in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

This edition of the magazine is highlighted by a daily breakdown of the incredible athlete achievements at Lima 2019 utilizing the great photos captured by our ground team in Peru and written by myself and Alejandro. It also previews and features the nominees and winners of the inaugural Awards show and provides updates on other international multisport Games on the horizon for the region. Like all of our other editorial pieces, the great Elizabeth Montenegro designed the entirety of the magazine.

I was tasked with defining the content, writing or translating all of the copy and working with the designer for the magazine to ensure we conveyed the important legacy left behind by Lima 2019. The magazine was delivered to each attendee of the Panam Sports Awards, including athletes from each of the 41 countries that participate in the Games, media executives from Univision who broadcast the awards show live on their network, members of the Pan American Family and of course all of the nominees who attended the awards.
